Drug crimes are still aggressively prosecuted in the State of California, and at the federal level, even with the movement towards decriminalization of the use of some drugs, and the changes in marijuana law. Individuals are still being prosecuted for the sale of drugs, especially methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and other prescription medications.
